Case. The case of this article is to present the symbolism hidden in the film Nosferatu the Vampire, directed by Werner Herzog, presented against the background of film vampirism and the director's work.
Discussion of the concept. The article is based on theoretical knowledge in the field of culture, especially film art.
Results and conclusions. This article presents a range of information about the symbolism used by Werner Herzog. Discussing Nosferatu the Vampire is at the same time a matter of grasping metaphysical, folkloric and social concepts.
Cognitive value. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the film Nosferatu the Vampire.
