The knowledge of children in pre- school education of the cultural heritage in the region

Thesis. Nowadays we turn to the education of pre-school children aimed at awakening
among the youngest children a sense of belonging to Small Homeland.
Aim of the study. The main idea of the article is the presentation of results analysis
of the research concerning the knowledge of the cultural heritage of the region among
children 3, 4 and 5 year old.
Method. The research question was included in the following question: What is
the knowledge of 3, 4 and 5 year olds on the cultural heritage of the region? The method
of my research was a diagnostic survey. As a technique of research a test was
used. The research was carried out in one of the kindergartens in the Podhale region.
Conclusions. The analysis of the collected research material confi rms the need to
implement in the institutions of pre-school education issues aimed at stimulating the
sense of regional identity
