Abstract

Purpose of research. A summary of achievements and eff ects of conservation work, as well as a look at the wider aspects of the educational practices of internship of the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw carried out in the country fundamentally culturally diff erent than Poland.
The method of research. Evaluation and analysis of results of the activities in situ and research of literature relevant to the topic.

Results. Based on analysis presented, results of work and research of literature
relevant to the topic, the text summarizes the up to date results of conservation work
carried out within the framework of internship of the Department of Conservation
and Restoration of Works of Art Academy Fine Arts in Warsaw.
Conclusions. As a result of many years of work it has been managed to preserve the valuable medieval wall paintings. Moreover, many years of experience conducting student placements represent developed and proven actions in the fi eld of vocational training while achieving the objectives of intercultural education.
