Abstrakt

Cel. Celem badania było zweryfikowanie związku pomiędzy przekonaniami
o normatywnej męskości a poziomem akceptacji mitów na temat gwałtu na mężczyznach,
a także określenie różnic w postrzeganiu tych zjawisk w zależności od płci i orientacji psychoseksualnej badanych osób.

Metody. W badaniu wykorzystano Kwestionariusz Norm Męskości w skróconej wersji - KNM (Male Role Norms Inventory-Short Form [MRNI-SF]); oraz Skalę Akceptacji Mitów o Gwałcie na Mężczyznach (Male Rape Myth Acceptance Scale [MRMAS]); W obu przypadkach zastosowano tłumaczenie własne.

Wyniki. Analiza wykazała, że silniejsze przekonania o normatywnej męskości były istotnie związane z wyższym poziomem akceptacji mitów o gwałcie. Dodatkowo wynik analizy wykazał istotną różnicę między grupami. Kobiety i osoby nieheteroseksualne charakteryzowały się niższym poziomem akceptacji mitów niż mężczyźni i osoby heteroseksualne.

Wnioski. Wyniki wskazują, że normatywna męskość odgrywa kluczową rolę
w kształtowaniu społecznych postaw wobec męskich ofiar gwałtu. Silniejsze przekonania
o tradycyjnych rolach płciowych wiążą się z większą akceptacją mitów na temat gwałtu
i mniejszym współczuciem wobec ofiar. Uzyskane wyniki podkreślają potrzebę dalszych badań nad społecznymi uwarunkowaniami postrzegania przemocy seksualnej wobec mężczyzn.
