Psychological peculiarities of subjective well-being of residents in geriatric homes

The article is dedicated to the theme of subjective well-being of elderly people living in geriatric homes. Social and psychological peculiarities of life satisfaction of senior people were analysed in the works of Ukrainian and foreign authors. The research found life sat-isfaction of people who have alack of social contacts is connected with the value orienta-tions of hedonism and spirituality, hardiness, mental health and low sense of pain. These physiological, social and psychological components were generalized into the structure of subjective well-being
